Help us reach our goal of $425,000! Register for bikeMS today and join the movement to create a world free of MS!
You can bring us closer to a world free of MS! Don’t miss participating in the 2009 bikeMS© Twin Forks Ride, which will be held on September 12 & 13. This incredible 150 mile journey will raise awareness and critical funds, while taking us closer to a cure.
Day One rides along the north fork, starting in Southampton, with 25, 50, and 75 mile options available and ends with a Celebration Dinner on Shelter Island. Participants who are riding the full 150 miles are welcome to stay at Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island. Space is limited, so please register to reserve a bed. Day Two will begin at Shelter Island, continue along the South Fork and completes in Southampton, with a great finish line BBQ.
Consider forming a team with friends, family and/or co-workers and share a great experience while helping the 42,000 Long Islanders affected by MS.
Plan Ahead!
Pick the participant type that best fits your needs, prices include meals for riders as well as sleeping accommodations, towels and linens. Only participants who are riding the full 150 miles are permitted to stay at Camp Quinipet overnight. Please be advised that accommodations at this point reflect a bed at Camp Quinipet. Once beds are full, the registration will reflect floor space and camping only. For more information, call Stacy Bona at (631) 864-8337 or (516) 740-7227 ext. 230 or email sbona@nmssli.org
Registration fee of $75 is non-refundable, non-transferable and not applicable to the minimum pledge amount. Each rider is required to raise a minimum of $250 by the September 12, 2009 deadline.
Cyclists who are riding Day One should check-in at the Elks Club in Southampton on Saturday, September 12th. Cyclists who are riding the 50 and the 75 mile options will finish their ride at Shelter Island. Only these riders are provided transportation after the Celebration Dinner at Camp Quinipet. This shuttle bus will take riders to the start line in Southampton and will leave at 8:30 pm.
If you are riding Day One only and are not interested in attending the Celebration Dinner, you must find your own transportation back to the Elks Club in Southampton.
Cyclists are responsible for their own ferry fees. The fee for the North Ferry on Day 1 is $3, and the fee for the South Ferry on Day 2 is $4.
